Shirley and Donald Barker Endowment Dedication

Shirley Barker recently dedicated an endowment named for her and her late husband, Donald. Donald spent four months in the intensive care unit and Shirley stayed by his side the entire time.

The Shirley D. and Donald P. Barker Endowment was established to benefit ICU patients and their families at Ascension Seton Williamson. 

Shirley thanked many people for the care her husband received while at the hospital and she shared her deep gratitude for Nurse Ranju Bimali  and Chaplin Dave for all they did for both her and her Donald.  During the ceremony Shirley was a presented a cross made from the rocks at the hospital’s ground breaking.
