Caring for neighbors here, close to home.
Ascension Seton Williamson provides nationally-resourced medical care to every neighbor in our region, regardless of their ability to pay. As our region grows by leaps and bounds, so too does the demand for quality healthcare resources. HereCare ensures that every person in our community has access to the best care available, and it is our giving community that makes this possible.
Ascension Seton Williamson is the first stop when our neighbors experience health crises, and our philanthropic partners—leaders like you—intuitively understand the vital importance of building service capacity here at home. Your generosity helps keep our hospital the first-class, first-choice for every neighbor who needs us, without exception.
Where here keeps growing.
Here is a moving target. Especially in our region. When we opened our doors more than 15 years ago we were the only hospital serving a growing rural community. Today, we are the original hospital in one of the fastest growing suburban communities in Texas—and the massive growth we’ve experienced over the past decade is expected to accelerate.
As the population in our region expands, so does Ascension Seton Williamson. We continue to increase our physical footprint—the number of beds and outpatient services—while at the same time growing our specialty care in key service areas like cardiovascular, neurology, and orthopedics. And our new pediatric campus, Dell Children’s North, will ensure Ascension Seton serves every neighbor at every age.

Devoted to the future of here.
Ascension Seton Williamson is growing to serve our community by embarking on a $230 million expansion, which will include:
PHYSICAL SPACE
- A new 216,000-square-foot, six-story tower
- 160 new patient rooms
- Two additional operating rooms
- A new 12-bed observation unit
- Additional space for Ascension Seton Williamson’s emergency, imaging, and surgical departments
An additional 34,000 square feet of dedicated outpatient wound care and surgical rehabilitation services space will allow our patients to receive specialty follow-up care close to home. For our patients who are un- and under-insured, these services are especially important, as they may not be able to easily travel for follow-up care at clinics farther from home.
SERVICES AND SPECIALTIES
Over the next ten years, every service line and specialty in the North market is expected to grow. As we strive to keep up with this increased demand, Ascension Seton Williamson will add 300 new staff positions and invest in the growth of our community’s most-needed specialties: Neurology, Cardiology, and Orthopedics.
Growth is expected over the next 10 years in every service line at Ascension Seton Williamson.

Philanthropy is a HereCare catalyst.
As a nonprofit hospital system whose mission is to serve all regardless of ability to pay, Ascension Seton Williamson relies on philanthropic leaders to not only ensure we serve everyone, but that we serve everyone at the highest level. Ascension invests a considerable amount in expanding services, but philanthropy accelerates the rate of innovation in our community. It supports the recruitment of world-class physicians, it builds quality specialty care services, and it equips our services with leading-edge technologies.
