Ascension Seton Williamson Foundation
The Ascension Seton Williamson Foundation works with our local philanthropic community north of Austin to support Ascension
Seton Williamson, Ascension Seton Highland Lakes and Ascension Seton Northwest.
Ascension’s Mission
Rooted in the loving ministry of Jesus as healer, we commit ourselves to serving all persons with special attention to those who are poor and vulnerable. Our Catholic health ministry is dedicated to spiritually centered holistic care which sustains and improves the health of individuals and communities. We are advocates for a compassionate and just society through our actions and our words.
Our History
Established in 2006, The Ascension Seton Williamson Foundation was created as a direct response to the dire need for care in Williamson County, one of the fastest growing communities in Central Texas. Members of the Williamson County community were traveling 20 miles, all the way to Seton Medical Center Austin for their healthcare needs. Williamson County community leaders joined together under the leadership and direction of The Seton Foundations President at the time, Gene Attal, in order to create this Foundation.
