Associates from Ascension Seton Williamson (ASW) and Ascension Texas participated in a “topping out” ceremony for the new ASW patient tower. This ceremony marks the end of the structural phase of construction and celebrates the hard work and skill of construction crews and trade teams.
The new patient tower is part of a $230 million investment in the ASW campus that includes:
- 216,000 additional square feet across the campus.
- Six-story patient tower with 160 beds
- Two new operating rooms
- An additional MRI
- New cath lab
- Observation unit
- Expanded emergency room
- Expanded Cardiac Rehab clinic
- Expanded access to specialty care providers
