Caring for neighbors here, close to home.
Ascension Seton Williamson provides nationally-resourced medical care to every neighbor in our region, regardless of their ability to pay. As our region grows by leaps and bounds, so too does the demand for quality healthcare resources. HereCare ensures that every person in our community has access to the best care possible, and it is our giving community that makes this possible.
Ascension Seton Williamson is the first stop when our neighbors experience health crises, and our philanthropic partners—leaders like you—intuitively understand the vital importance of building service capacity here at home. Your generosity helps keep our hospital the first-class, first-choice for every neighbor who needs us, without exception.
Where here keeps growing.
Here is a moving target. Especially in our region. When we opened our doors more than 15 years ago we were the only hospital serving a growing community. Today, we are located in the heart of one of the fastest growing regions in Texas and are the highest rated trauma center (Level II) between Austin and Temple.
Over the next ten years, every service line and specialty in the North market is expected to grow. As we strive to keep up with this increased demand, Ascension Seton Williamson will add more than 300 new staff positions and invest in the growth of our community’s most-needed specialties: Neurology, Cardiology, and Orthopedics.
A continuous commitment to being the best.
For Ascension Seton, the influx of people into our community isn’t merely a capacity issue. Our leadership role as the safety net health system requires us to continuously improve, attract and recruit top talent, enhance our facilities, and elevate our prestige and capabilities.

Devoted to the future of here.
Ascension Seton Williamson is growing to serve our community by embarking on a $230 million expansion, which will include:
PHYSICAL SPACE
- A new 216,000-square-foot, six-story tower
- 160 new patient rooms
- Two additional operating rooms
- A new 10-bed observation unit
- Additional space for Ascension Seton Williamson’s emergency, imaging, and surgical departments
Ascension also continues to make extensive investments in our outpatient clinics throughout the North market. An additional 34,000 square feet of dedicated outpatient wound care and surgical rehabilitation services space will allow our patients to receive specialty follow-up care close to home. For our patients who are un- and under-insured, these services are especially important, as they may not be able to easily travel for follow-up care at clinics farther from home.

Generosity here stays here.
Our donor community seeds life-saving research, cutting-edge technology, and more to support the best possible care. In fact, donations play such a massive role in healthcare progress, that our donors directly contribute to excellence at every level. By breaking down funding barriers that can limit our growth, donor generosity significantly enhances the ongoing excellence of Ascension Seton Williamson.
Without philanthropy, many non-profit hospitals struggle to secure funding for programmatic and equipment needs that are critical for growth. For safety net hospitals, such as ours, philanthropy is even more critical.
Your philanthropic dollars enable us to expand alongside our rapidly growing community, to recruit the best and brightest medical minds, to care for all neighbors regardless of their ability to pay, and to offer the highest level of care to everyone. In other words, your donation ensures that our hospital is not just good, but great.
“Giving makes your heart soar when you know you’re doing something good.”
— Craig McCurdy
In 1995, Nancy Crouse and Craig McCurdy lost their only child, Ben, to cancer.
One of the many ways Nancy and Craig honor their son is by volunteering for and donating to the Ascension Seton Williamson Foundation. The couple will provide a legacy gift upon their passing, and they believe it is one of the greatest contributions they can make to Ascension Seton Williamson and their community.
“My husband, Craig, and I have had the honor of supporting Ascension Seton Williamson since before it was even built and we have watched the hospital grow and serve everyone in our community. The expansion of Ascension Seton Williamson is the essential next step for healthcare in our growing community. We look forward to supporting this campaign and the mission of this hospital to provide world-class care to everyone who walks through its doors.”
— Nancy Crouse, Former Board Chair, Ascension Seton Williamson Foundation
Help us raise the level of care for everyone.
HereCare means many things to many people. For some it means care close to home. For those who live further from town, it means care within reach. And for some, like Amy, it’s care worth a long drive. She says, “Because I live in Temple, I’m often asked why I choose to go all the way to Round Rock for care. I say, it’s worth it. From all of my OB visits, to the NICU, everyone is really nice and it’s a great place to be.”
HereCare is who we are. We’re your neighbors and friends. And we are here for you.
